When talking about the All Terrain Warrior Alpha Camper, there's not really a class or category that fits. This is a truly unique expedition vehicle purpose-built for camping as far off-road as you dare take it.

The All-Terrain Warrior runs on a Mitsubishi Fuso FG 4x4 truck chassis and drivetrain, powered by a Mercedes 4P10(T5) 3.0L 161hp/295lb. ft. of torque diesel engine. The rear end is converted to a heavy-duty single-wheel axle with parabolic suspension and upgrades to allow for steep approach and departure angles. The transmission is the standard Mitsubishi Fuso DUONIC 6-speed model that can be operated in either automatic or manual modes.

On top of this robust chassis is mated the All-Terrain Warrior Alpha Camper body. This all fiberglass body is made by ATW Australia. This company has a boat-building history that shows in the tough fiberglass construction that looks more like something you'd expect to find on the water than in the desert. All of the hardware and accessories are marine-grade stainless steel with thick door seals to keep out dust and rain. The construction is such that the manufacturer claims that the whole vehicle would float if submerged to such a degree - a claim that the seller has never put to the test. The engine is protected from flooding by an air intake snorkel.

The equipment on this rig is pure expedition style. A heavy-duty front bumper and brush guard keep the front end safe while also providing a winch for pulling you out of sticky situations. A ladder behind the driver's door gives you access to the roof of the cab and the large truck box installed up there. If you find yourself off-roading at night, a full complement of off-road lights are installed along the front edge of the roof rack.

At the rear of the rig, you find a pair of full-size spares, each weighing in over 100lbs. Keeping them and the rack they sit in accessible is another winch to lower the spare tires rack down and back up again. If all you need is a quick air-up, a heavy-duty 160psi air compressor gets the job done in a hurry. This also makes it easy to air down your tires for off-road traction and then back up again when you return to the road. The compressor also powers the included pneumatic jack. There is also a receiver hitch at the rear of the vehicle capable of towing up to 7500lbs. All of the vehicle systems are easy to access through the pass-through storage at the rear.

Inside you have a comfortable interior that boater or Class B enthusiasts would mostly recognize. The galley is immediately opposite the side door with a 12V drawer style marine grade fridge/freezer, single sink, and storage cabinets. Opposite the galley is the bathroom with pop-up shower and porta-potty. The bathroom has hot water. Air conditioning and diesel heat make this a comfortable rig all year long.

At the rear of the cabin is the queen bed with storage underneath. Forward is the marine-style dinette with panels to convert it into a double bunk. An accordion baffle connects the cabin to the cockpit, and the dinette table swivels into this space to get out of the way of the bed. Theoretically, you can sleep 6 in this rig with two in each bed and one sleeping in each front seat.

The electrical systems on this rig are impressive and make it such that as long as you have diesel, water, and sunshine, you can stay out as long as you like. The two 210Ah AGM batteries for the house are kept charged by three 120W solar panels. An inverter provides AC power when not plugged in to 30W shore power. Most systems are 12V marine-grade rather than AC powered. The seller generally carries a small portable generator just in case the sun doesn't shine enough to keep the batteries charged.

If you need to move this expedition camper to your next location easily, it is designed to fit perfectly into a standard freight container for overseas shipping. The Mitsubishi Fuso chassis and drivetrain are supported all over the globe.

And you get all of this in a package that you can park in a standard parking lot space out front of your local Walmart.
