The 240FS is a single-slide-out Class C with Ford Triton V10 power and a towing capacity of 7,500 lbs. Take this RV on the road and you are taking all the comforts of home in a manageable size, perfect for couples or a family.
The 240FS sleeps up to 6 with two in the queen-size bed, two in the convertible dinette, and at least two more over the cab.
Behind the sliding farm-style door in the bedroom is a hanging closet, a vanity, and a sink, a customization that frees up more space for the shower and toilet in the bathroom and reduces wait time for guests. Ingenious!
The living space is also configurable on this 240FS with a slide-out entertainment center and a 360-degree swiveling TV. The entertainment center slides to the dinette wall when not in use and slides out for use in the living area or the bedroom. It also provides privacy for the queen bed.
The stacked pantry is at the end of the entertainment center and handy for the chef in the family. The kitchen is a galley-style format with a double sink, a microwave, stove, oven, and a nice-sized refrigerator-freezer.
Updates include hydraulic Big Foot levelers that can lift the RV wheels off the ground, a rear air suspension system, rear and side cameras, cabinets in the over-cab space, and a bench with storage installed at the side door. The over-cab cabinets can be removed, and the original filler and belts are included in the sale. The swivel chair is included with the sale as well.
The exterior is a lightweight Azdel composite that absorbs sound, insulates, and does not wear like gel coat surfaces. That's why the exterior of this RV looks so good! A slide-out table is deployed from the awning-side outside storage, and multi-mode LED lights and an outdoor entertainment center with a TV and sound system are under the awning.
The Ford Triton V10 powers the Coachman, and the owner has added a 100 AH Dakota Lithium Ion battery and a 30 amp charger. The Dakota battery and the Onan 4.0kW generator make this one perfect for longer stays away from civilization.
